Our Family Program is here to provide you resources so that you can support your student in collaboration with our partners across campus. We hope to work with you by helping you empower your student to take personal responsibility for their social and academic goals and choices.

Once your student has been accepted they are now considered a Current Student! We have all the resources and tools you will need to see them through their first year. From orientation to important dates and deadlines, you can stay informed as you help them pursue their educational and career goals.
Parent 101 Sessions
A session designed for Parents and Caregivers to learn about supports that their new York University student will need. Topics include Student Finances, Student Wellness supports, information on Orientation programming as well as tips on Virtual Learning. In addition, there will be an introduction to student services available to their child that is based on their specific academic program.

College Specific Parents & Family Orientation Sessions
At York University, each undergraduate program belongs to a college which provides academic and social support throughout a student's time here.
College Specific Parents & Family Orientation sessions provide an opportunity to learn about academic support services, social activities, recreational activities, and facilities related specifically to the College.
