Parents & Family

Welcome to York University! We are so happy that your student has decided to attend York. Research proves that parent/family involvement is an important resource that improves a student’s productivity. We believe that parents and family members play a key role in the success of our students.

Our Family Program is here to provide you resources so that you can support your student in collaboration with our partners across campus. We hope to work with you by helping you empower your student to take personal responsibility for their social and academic goals and choices.

A fun way to get a feel for campus before you even arrive is to take a Virtual Tour.

Discover York and all it has to offer. If you are the parent or family member of a future student who is interested in York, we have all the information you need to ensure your student is prepared to apply.

Once your student has been accepted they are now considered a Current Student! We have all the resources and tools you will need to see them through their first year. From orientation to important dates and deadlines, you can stay informed as you help them pursue their educational and career goals.
